Default Dye Updates...

When the appearance of dyes changed, a lot of things are really messed up with them. For some armors, silver looks teal, and grey looks almost the same as silver used to only much cheaper.

Many of the dye mixes are really screwed up. For instance, Silver, Dye Remover, Silver used to come out as a white color, but now it comes out exactally the same as silver, more or less. Why did the mixes have to be changed? My friend blew a bit of money because he mixed a bunch of white dyes before the update and now they turn out looking bad.

Also Dye stacks that were found or purchased before the update will not stack with dyes found or purchased after the update. Overall I love the new changed though.

my monks armor has a special teal mix on it - it's shown properly ingame but in the login screen it's an ugly and dirty shade of grey... WTH?
also - all my silver+remover mixes are dirt-ugly on the charlogin, seem be as before ingame thou....

hope that gets fixed soon. the new dye system is pretty cool thou - saves sooooo much money^^

Yeah, the dye colors on the login are all messed up for me too... Oh well hope it gets fixed soon. Adding white dyes was really dumb, especially having them loot -only in my opinion.

Default Whit Dye

Ok, the update has added white and brown dye as loot drops. Brown dye, i suspect will have a medium ti high intiall price and then fall. White, depending on frequency, will start out very high. im talking 10-15k here, as alot of people want it. This coulld trigger a downturn in the black dye market, so if you've got some of those I would try to sell them before white dye becomes well known about or availible thrugh drops/farmers. This is just my two cents.

And since Im away from my gaming comp. could someone please post a screenie of the new UI,please?

The Dye merchant will determine the price of the new dyes.

Problem with that is you can't buy or sell the new dyes at the trader, so it's all up to the sellers for the time being.

I would like white dyes.. hmm..

Yep, rediculous prices as it's been in a state of demand with practically no supply.

Just curious...Where have you guys seen the white dyes dropping?

And yeah..They really need to put White dye at the trader and set a price. Its ridiculous to see some users paying like 40k per bottle. :|

ANyone tried selling a brown dye? I'd try getting some myself, but I'm in London and GW is in Dublin. Yeah, what's the story on Brown Dye? I dont think it would be in high demand.

Default New Dyes do not stack with old dyes

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. New dyes generated in this patch do NOT stack with older dyes, even if they are identical colors. I just tried to place red dye in my stash's stack of 24 reds, and they keep swapping places.

Fortunately, the dye trader does recognize the two red dyes as equal value.

At least someone can spell.. I'd almost given up hope.

White dye has been a long time coming, now its going to be easier for all those dandy's IG to have pink armour.

Actually, the problem I see is a lot of neat colors are no longer able to be made.

Specific example...blood red necro (so much brighter than the used to be default red, which is now grey) can not be made because it used dye remover. It was an EXTREMELY popular color.
